About the Role We are seeking a Business Systems Analyst (BSA) to support a global industry leader in water treatment, sustainability technologies, and industrial solutions. Our client operates worldwide and develops advanced digital tools to enable operational excellence across its customer base.
In this role, you will help shape the evolution of a major iOS mobile application used across a broad, global user community. You will work closely with product, engineering, design, and business stakeholders to define app features, streamline workflows, and ensure delivery of intuitive, high-quality mobile experiences. This position is feature-focused, highly collaborative, and ideal for someone who excels at translating complex business needs into clear technical requirements.
Job Description As a Business Systems Analyst for the iOS mobile application, you will:
- Partner with product, design, and engineering teams to define and deliver new iOS app features and enhancements.
- Elicit, analyze, and document business and user requirements through user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional specifications.
- Translate complex business needs into mobile-friendly, technically feasible solutions based on iOS platform capabilities and limitations.
- Collaborate with UX/UI designers to support intuitive, user-centered workflows and interfaces.
- Work closely with iOS engineers to clarify requirements and assist in solution design decisions.
- Support Agile ceremonies including backlog refinement, sprint planning, and feature prioritization.
- Evaluate existing mobile functionality and recommend improvements to workflows, usability, and performance.
- Assist with testing and validation by reviewing test cases, supporting QA/UAT, and ensuring delivered features meet stakeholder expectations.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation across the feature lifecycle.
- Communicate clearly and proactively with stakeholders, offering status updates, tradeoff considerations, and solution recommendations.
Qualifications Required Qualifications: - Strong ability to translate business needs into functional mobile app requirements.
- Experience writing user stories, acceptance criteria, and process flows.
- Solid understanding of mobile app development concepts, particularly for iOS (e.g., app lifecycle, integrations, APIs, platform limitations).
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with both technical and non-technical teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with high attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple features or initiatives simultaneously and work independently.
- Comfortable operating in Agile/Scrum development environments.
- Basic SQL knowledge.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, or related field—or equivalent experience.
Preferred Qualifications: - Experience supporting consumer-facing or internal mobile applications.
- Familiarity with UX principles and mobile design best practices.
- Experience working directly with iOS development teams.
- Exposure to tools such as Azure DevOps, Figma, or similar product/documentation platforms.
