National Convention and Tradeshow Contractor located in Pittsburgh, PA is seeking a full-time or part-time entry level Graphic Designer/ Concept Developer of Trade Show Displays. This position comes with the opportunity for advancement. Rate - Based on experience.

Your job responsibilities will include:

• Graphic design specialist for show’s signage needs.
• Ensure all design files are consistent with sizes listed within the CRA / create and update Signage Matrix.
• Work with Lead Graphic Designer or Manager on creative signage needs and concepts for current shows and prospects.
• Aid in the design and placement of event sponsor logos in overall signage for events.
• Ensure proper substrate is being used for show site installation as well as research other products that may execute better.
• Print Booth Id headers for each exhibitor.
• Participate in site visits as needed for pictures to create look of shows for creative presentations and ensure structure measurements work within the space.
• Develop creative options for increased signage upselling for shows.
• Ensure graphic design files are stored on the share drive in an organized fashion under the proposal and show’s signage folder.
• Preplan correct implementation of signage through “look of shows”, taking a photo and doing a mock-up of what the piece of signage will look like.
• Ensure client’s branding needs are being implemented in overall signage and research for design.
• Provide show creative design templates for show management approval of overall design and font.
• Drive Stetson’s branding in the implementation of proper logo and color usages in relation to website creation, brochures, service desk graphics, etc.
• Be deadline driven.
• Direct contact for our printing partners; request and obtain quotes for new projects, audit final invoices.
• Assist at show site with installation when needed. Especially with high creative shows.

Qualifications

- Must have experience in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop. InDesign is a plus.

- Must have strong and professional verbal and written communication skills.

- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

- Proficient in both Mac and PC.
