JOB OPENING: Groundskeeper/
Maintenance  

JOB TITLE:   Groundskeeper/Maintenance Staff 

QUALIFICATIONS: 

• Minimum 16 years of age

• Ability to recognize and react to water park needs

• Possess strong work ethic   

EXPERIENCE:  

• Experienced with landscaping, mechanical equipment and other power equipment preferred 

KNOWLEDGE: 

• Able to operate equipment safely and correctly

• General knowledge of preventative grounds maintenance and repair preferred

• Keep the safety of park patrons and employees the top priority

• Capability of learning grounds maintenance and facility maintenance tasks and carry those out on a regular basis without constant supervision 

PRIMARY DUTIES:  

• Care and maintenance of Wetlands Water Park buildings

• Care of grass, shrubbery and vegetation in and around Wetlands including mowing, weeding, watering and pruning

• General maintenance, cleaning and removal of trash and litter within the facility, adjacent areas and grounds

• Operates equipment necessary to ensure quality upkeep and maintenance of the facility and grounds 

SECONDARY DUTIES: 

• Related maintenance activities before and after water park season

• Other duties as assigned 

RESPONSIBLE TO:  

• Seasonal Water Park Manager, Water Park Director and Parks and Recreation Director
