Primary Function

We are seeking an experienced I&C Technicians to join the maintenance team at a cutting-edge solar thermal facility in Ivanpah. These are full-time, onsite contract roles supporting preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and instrumentation repair. Local candidates are highly preferred, as travel and per diem are not offered at this time.

Key Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair instrumentation, including transmitters, switches, control valves, and low voltage systems
• Work with Rotork electric actuators (strongly preferred)
• Assist with controls and electrical systems (electrical experience is a plus, but not required)
• Report directly to the I&C Supervisor while supporting daily maintenance operations
• Follow plant safety protocols, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures
• Provide your own hand tools, meters, and basic equipment

Qualifications

• Prior experience in industrial I&C maintenance and troubleshooting
• Familiarity with Rotork electric actuators is highly desirable
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
• Strong understanding of safety practices and job site procedures
• Reliable transportation and the ability to work onsite in Ivanpah

Other Information

• Start Date: ASAP
• Schedule: 4x10s, Monday–Thursday, with OT available. (Fri/Sat/Sun off)
• Assignment Duration: Estimated 3–6 months
• Rate: Market rate flexibility.
• Tools: Candidates must bring their own hand tools and meters; specialized training and PPE will be provided onsite
