Dean's Professional Services is actively seeking qualified Patient Escorts to join a respected hospital facility in Houston, Texas . We are looking for dependable, customer-service-driven individuals who are committed to delivering safe and professional patient care.

Position Summary:

The Patient Escort is responsible for transporting patients via wheelchair, stretcher, or hydraulic stretcher to and from their scheduled appointments throughout the hospital or ambulatory care areas. This role is key in ensuring patients are moved safely, on time, and with exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

* Escort patients from hospital entry points to their initial destinations using proper disinfection protocols.
* Complete tracking logs with detailed information for each patient transported.
* Sanitize equipment before and after each use following established "High-Touch" disinfection protocols.
* Follow all safety procedures when assisting patients in and out of wheelchairs or stretchers.
* Deliver courteous, professional, and timely service to patients and caregivers.

Requirements:

* High School Diploma or equivalent - Required
* Minimum of 1 year of patient care or high-volume customer service experience.
* Ability to push 250+ lbs using a wheelchair or stretcher.
* Strong communication skills and the ability to navigate large facilities independently.
* Must demonstrate professionalism, reliability, and a strong attention to detail.

Job Details:

* Schedule varies; must be available for rotating weekends and some holidays.
* Starting pay: $15/hr. (based on experience)
