Quality Engineer - Aerospace

Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Engineer to join our aerospace manufacturing team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that our products meet the highest quality standards and regulatory requirements. This position involves developing and implementing quality assurance protocols and working closely with engineering and production teams to identify and resolve quality issues.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement quality assurance protocols and procedures to ensure compliance with AS9100 standards.
• Conduct inspections and tests on aerospace components and assemblies to ensure they meet specifications.
• Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to identify quality issues and implement solutions using RCCA methodologies.
• Utilize SolidWorks to analyze designs and identify potential quality concerns before production.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and manufacturing processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
• 2-3+ years of experience as a Quality Engineer in the aerospace industry.
• Proficient in AS9102 and AS9100 standards and their application in aerospace manufacturing.
• Experience with CNC machining, lathes, and other manufacturing processes.
• Familiarity with quality tools and methodologies such as RCCA and Six Sigma.
• Experience in using SolidWorks and other engineering software.
