Real Estate Associate

About the Role:

The firm is seeking a Real Estate Associate with 3 5 years of experience to join its Los Angeles or New York office. This is an exciting opportunity to work on sophisticated commercial real estate transactions alongside experienced attorneys within one of the largest and most respected real estate practice groups in the West.

Associates will gain substantial hands-on experience and direct client interaction while working on complex and high-value matters for prominent clients across a variety of industries and asset classes.

Key areas of work include:

  • Commercial real estate acquisitions and dispositions
  • Real estate finance transactions
  • Leasing matters
  • Development projects
  • Joint venture transactions
  • Transaction structuring, negotiations, and due diligence

This role is ideal for candidates seeking meaningful responsibility, sophisticated deal work, and long-term growth within a collaborative and entrepreneurial environment.

Qualifications:

Qualified candidates should have:

  • 3 5 years of experience in commercial real estate transactions
  • Experience with real estate finance, leasing, development, and joint venture transactions
  • Strong drafting and negotiation skills
  • Excellent academic credentials
  • Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • The ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
  • Experience working with sophisticated market participants and complex transactions
  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree required
  • Colorado Bar admission preferred

Compensation & Benefits:

Compensation for this role ranges from $235,000 to $290,000 , depending on experience. Associates are also eligible for an hours-based bonus.
