Position Summary

The Roofing Project Manager oversees residential roofing projects from the initial homeowner interaction through agreement execution and handoff to production. This is a field-based role that blends customer service, project coordination, and sales responsibilities.

Project Managers identify new opportunities through neighborhood outreach, conduct roof evaluations, present roofing solutions, and assist homeowners with insurance or retail processes. You will act as the primary point of contact for customers, ensuring clear communication and a smooth transition into production.

Training is provided on roofing systems, company processes, and insurance fundamentals.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new project opportunities through residential outreach and referrals
• Perform roof inspections and assess project requirements
• Explain roofing options, insurance claim processes, and retail solutions to homeowners
• Prepare and present proposals and secure signed agreements
• Maintain regular communication with customers throughout the project timeline
• Accurately document leads, inspections, and customer interactions
• Represent Ikon Roof professionally in all field interactions

Qualifications

• Comfortable working in the field and building a pipeline through outreach
• Strong communication skills and ability to follow established processes
• Self-directed and reliable in a performance-based environment
• Ability to safely climb ladders and access rooftops
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Smartphone required for scheduling, documentation, and communication
• Prior experience in door-to-door, construction, or field sales is helpful but not required
• Ability to manage time independently
• Flexible availability; some travel may be required

Compensation & Earnings

• Typical on-target earnings of $75,000–$125,000 annually
• Top performers regularly earn $300,000+ per year
• Project-based commissions starting at 8% per project
• Performance bonuses allow commission increases up to 10%
• No income cap — earnings are directly tied to performance and consistency
