As part of our continued growth and expansion into Tennessee, we are actively recruiting qualified Protective Services Agents to support ongoing and upcoming operations.

Our agents support corporate clients, private individuals, and sensitive assignments requiring professionalism, discretion, and operational readiness. SpearPoint provides opportunities for both Kentucky-based assignments and travel in support of regional and national operations.

Qualified personnel may be offered contract, W2 hourly, or salaried positions based on operational needs, experience, and performance. High-performing agents may also be selected for SpearPoint Defense Group’s specialized SPEAR Team , supporting priority protective operations.

Position Overview

SpearPoint Defense Group is seeking licensed and experienced Protective Services Agents to support a wide range of protective and security operations throughout Kentucky and in support of national operations.

Assignments may include:

  • Executive Protection (EP) operations
  • Workplace Violence Prevention (WPV) details
  • Armed and unarmed protective services
  • Corporate and private client protection
  • Fixed-site and mobile protective assignments
  • Threat deterrence and incident response
  • Event security and special operations
  • Travel-based protective assignments
  • Protective surveillance and risk mitigation operations

Assignments vary based on operational needs, agent qualifications, and client requirements.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide professional protective services in armed or unarmed roles
  • Maintain situational awareness and operational readiness
  • Protect client personnel, property, and assets
  • Serve as a visible deterrent and respond appropriately to incidents
  • Observe, document, and report incidents accurately
  • Maintain professional appearance and conduct at all times
  • Follow SpearPoint Defense Group operational protocols and post orders
  • Maintain discretion and professionalism in all client environments
  • Operate independently or as part of a protective services team

Minimum Requirements:

  • Must be willing to undergo state specific licensing or possess required state licensing. Differs state by state.
  • Minimum 3+ years verified experience in one or more of the following: Military service, Law enforcement, Armed private security, Executive protection or protective services
  • Must be capable of working armed and unarmed assignments
  • Must be willing and able to travel , including out-of-state assignments
  • Must have a reliable personal vehicle
  • Must provide vehicle information for operational records
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
  • Must have a working smartphone with reliable internet access
  • Must be able to use company communication and scheduling platforms
  • Professional appearance, demeanor, and sound judgment

Vetting & Compliance:

All Protective Services Agents undergo a formal vetting and compliance process, including:

  • License verification
  • Credential and experience validation
  • Background review
  • Operational interview and evaluation
  • Compliance verification with Kentucky and applicable state regulations

Only fully vetted and approved agents will be assigned to operations.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Starting at $28.00/hour and up , depending on assignment, experience, and qualifications
  • Contract, W2 hourly, and salaried positions available
